Narayana vs Narayani: The Choice That Defines Destiny
In the Mahabharata,

as the great war between the Pandavas and Kauravas became inevitable, Duryodhana refused to part with even a needlepoint of land that rightfully belonged to the Pandavas.
Both sides sought the support of Krishna.
Representing their respective sides, Arjuna for the Pandavas and Duryodhana for the Kauravas went to meet Him.
Krishna was resting when they arrived.
Arjuna chose to sit humbly at His feet, while Duryodhana positioned himself confidently near His head—certain he would be noticed first and get the advantage.
But when Krishna awoke, His eyes naturally fell on Arjuna first.
On being asked, Arjuna simply said, "I want You to be my charioteer."
Then came Duryodhana’s turn.
With great satisfaction, he asked for Krishna’s vast army, weapons, elephants, and material strength.
In Sanskrit, “Narayana” refers to the Divine, while “Narayani” represents the material forces.
Arjuna chose Narayana — the Lord Himself.
Duryodhana chose Narayani — the resources.
The outcome is history.
Arjuna won—not merely because the Lord was with him, but because Dharma was on his side.
Duryodhana had power.
Arjuna had purpose.
This story reminds us:
When you align with Dharma—right conduct rooted in your true nature—and keep God on your side, no challenge is insurmountable.
God does not work for you.
He works through you.
God + You = An unstoppable force.
