Stepping into health: A 2 Year Journey of Walking, Yoga and Discipline.

Stepping into health: A '2' Year Journey of Walking, Yoga and Discipline.

At 64, a comprehensive blood test revealed some concerning health issues: high cholesterol, fatty liver, excess weight, and borderline diabetes. That was in 2023.

However, this wake-up call became a catalyst for a profound transformation to me.

The Turning Point:

With the guidance of a doctor, nutritionist, and yoga teacher, a new path was charted. The prescription was simple yet profound: eat more vegetables, reduce rice intake, walk 10,000 steps daily, and practice yoga, pranayama, and meditation.

The Power of Discipline and Consistency:

Two years of unwavering dedication yielded remarkable results:

- 10 kg weight loss: A significant achievement that brought weight under control achieving normal BMI.

- Normalizing health parameters: Cholesterol, fatty liver, and HbA1c levels improved dramatically.

- Walking 14,000 steps on an average daily: Averaging about 3,000 km per year, a testament to consistent effort.

- Yoga and meditation: Regular practice brought balance to body and mind.

The Intellect's Triumph over Temptation

The key to success lay in discipline and the power of the will. By harnessing the intellect to guide decisions, temptations were overcome, and healthy habits were cultivated.

The Fruits of Discipline

The transformation was not just physical; it was also mental and emotional:

- More energy: A newfound vitality and enthusiasm for life.

- Less anxiety: A calmer and more peaceful state of mind.

- Responding, not reacting: A greater sense of control and wisdom in daily interactions.

This journey serves as a powerful reminder that discipline, consistency, and the power of the will can lead to profound transformations.

By embracing healthy habits and cultivating mental clarity, we can unlock our full potential and live a more vibrant, balanced life.

If I can do it you too can!

Would be delighted if you can embark on this journey of "Wellness." It's really worth it.

All the best
