Yoga

Yoga means union with God. Union with the Whole. It's a secular word and not to be confused with religion.

Karma yoga, Gnana yoga, Raja yoga and Bhakti yoga are the main branches of yoga. There are divisions and sub divisions.

Hatha yoga 🧘‍♂️ is a sub-branch of yoga where the entities body and mind are made one. Breath is the connecting link between body and mind. By doing Hath yoga and when one goes to the point of maximum stretch there is only one entity - bodymind.

There is no thought.

Both body and mind are important - for activating the parasympathetic nervous system and sympathetic nervous system - relaxing and work. Both are necessary. Finding the balance is to be in a state of Homeostasis.

Mind Benefits from Stillness:

- Reduces stress and anxiety

- Increases focus and clarity
